Labtones Artist of the Month November: Rosebleed

Artist of the Month Add comments

The Labtones artist of the month November is Rosebleed from Greece. This five-piece indie rock band was formed in 2004. According to the band, the ingredients for their music are “big spaces, strong melodies, driving guitars, moving beats, passion and neverending experimentation”. So far, they have released two records: the EP “Stories” (2008) and the LP “White Balloons” (2009). The last one was produced by Clive Martin, who also worked with Streophonics and Massive Attack. They also played as support act for some pretty big names, such as Echo & The Bunnymen, Carlos Santana and The Cranberries. After scoring two big hits in Greece, with massive airplay on radio and television, it is time to go abroad: this month Rosebleed will give their first gigs in the Netherlands at the Trianon club in Nijmegen (November 22nd) and next at the Geleen Calling Festival (November 24th). They promise to give one of their best performances yet at these shows, so make sure you check them out! As for future plans, a new album is due somewhere in the spring of 2013, which will have a completely new sound and attitude.
